Safety Engineering Support
TTSSi provides a range of Safety Engineering Support services, assisting our customers in developing, implementing, augmenting, and improving their safety programs.
Our Safety Engineering Support services include:
- Assist customer personnel, such as production personnel and other safety department personnel, to identify and correct unsafe conditions, actions, and processes using engineering solutions
- Development and implementation of engineering process controls/techniques for safety and hazard control programs
- Evaluate existing processes and provide engineering solutions to ensure appropriate safety controls are addressed and/or incorporated
- Devlopment of Engineering Documents for implementation of engineering process controls for hazard controls programs, for surveillance corrective measures, accident / injury investigation corrective measures, personnel safety concerns
- Surveillance of third party operations for compliance with safety policies, laws, and regulations, including OSHA
- Conducting safety and health inspections, accident and injury investigations, recommend engineering solutions for corrective or preventative measures
- Fire safety inspections and drill organization, fire and safety equipment compliance with fire code regulations
- Development and delivery of role-based safety and health training - live, classroom, and virtualized
- Development, preparation, implementation, and updating of occupational, safety and health process instructions and directives, documentation, safety bulletins, Safety Data Sheets
- Reviewing of engineering / technical work documents and similar documents to ensure appropriate OSHA controls are addressed and/or incorporated
- Research and identification of special and unique safety equipment, protective gear and clothing to be utilized for special processes which meet the latest OSHA compliance standards
- Testing and analysis of materials and areas for hazards and unsafe conditions using a variety of electronic monitoring equipment or meters
